The present version was obtained from Miss June Slyfield, Ypsilanti, a student in Michigan State Normal College, in 1916; she had heard the song sung by a Scotch relative. She had a new dress; it was just at the mak'n'. It wanted the fare breadth, and it wanted the back'n'.
